Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (Virginia Beach, VA)

Bluepeak Umber Foods produces packaged foods at its Virginia Beach plant. We are hiring a Supply Chain Analyst to take on logistics cost analysis. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Build reports on production batches that planners can act on. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. What we are looking for • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Clear communication with non-analysts. Nice to have • Knowledge of production batches. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
