Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (St. Louis, MO)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Sparrow Freight and adding a Supply Chain Analyst whose main responsibility will be logistics cost analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Build reports on proof of delivery that planners can act on. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. What we are looking for • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Clear communication with non-analysts. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in St. Louis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
