Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (San Diego, CA)

Amberfield Sparrow Freight Group coordinates shipments and warehousing around San Diego. We are hiring a Supply Chain Analyst to take on logistics cost analysis. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Build reports on carrier rates that planners can act on. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. What we are looking for • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Clear communication with non-analysts. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of carrier rates. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
