Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (San Diego, CA)

Stonegate Birch Freight is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst. The job centres on logistics cost analysis for carrier rates, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Build reports on carrier rates that planners can act on. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. What we are looking for • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Clear communication with non-analysts. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of carrier rates. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
