Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (San Diego, CA)

Ironwood Sparrow Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in San Diego. We are hiring a Supply Chain Analyst to take on logistics cost analysis. You would join a large organisation of about 897 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Build reports on customer specifications that planners can act on. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. What we are looking for • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Clear communication with non-analysts. Nice to have • Knowledge of customer specifications. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
