Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (Sacramento, CA)

We are growing our team at Summit Meridian Freight and adding a Supply Chain Analyst whose main responsibility will be logistics cost analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 111 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Build reports on claims that planners can act on. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. What we are looking for • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of claims. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
