Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (Rochester, NY)

Fernwood Meadow Community Partners is a Rochester charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity. We are hiring a Supply Chain Analyst to take on logistics cost analysis. Flexibility and kindness are expected. What you will do • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Build reports on food distribution that planners can act on. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. What we are looking for • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Clear communication with non-analysts. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of food distribution. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Rochester, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
