Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (Richmond, VA)

Northwind Mill Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Richmond with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring a Supply Chain Analyst to take on logistics cost analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 37 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Build reports on collection routes that planners can act on. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. What we are looking for • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. Nice to have • Knowledge of collection routes. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
