Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (Richmond, VA)

Redstone Lakeside Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Richmond. We are hiring a Supply Chain Analyst to take on logistics cost analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 23 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Build reports on carrier rates that planners can act on. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. What we are looking for • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Clear communication with non-analysts. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of carrier rates. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
