Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (Reno, NV)

Northwind Orchard Freight is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst. The job centres on logistics cost analysis for proof of delivery, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Build reports on proof of delivery that planners can act on. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. What we are looking for • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Clear communication with non-analysts. Nice to have • Knowledge of proof of delivery. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
