Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (remote)

Fernwood Basin Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Pittsburgh with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring a Supply Chain Analyst to take on logistics cost analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 40 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Build reports on service complaints that planners can act on. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. What we are looking for • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. Nice to have • Knowledge of service complaints. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Pittsburgh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
