Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (remote)

Ironwood Ashton Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Columbus, and we need a Supply Chain Analyst to lead our logistics cost analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Build reports on dock schedules that planners can act on. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. What we are looking for • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of dock schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Columbus. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
