Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (remote)

Northwind Vale Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its New Orleans plant. We are hiring a Supply Chain Analyst to take on logistics cost analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Build reports on scrap and rework that planners can act on. What we are looking for • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. Nice to have • Knowledge of scrap and rework. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
