Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (remote)

Fernwood Timber Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around New Orleans, and we need a Supply Chain Analyst to lead our logistics cost analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 177 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build reports on meter reading that planners can act on. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. What we are looking for • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of meter reading. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
