Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (remote)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Granite Manufacturing and adding a Supply Chain Analyst whose main responsibility will be logistics cost analysis. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Build reports on machine downtime that planners can act on. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. What we are looking for • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of machine downtime. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Minneapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
