Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (remote)

Fernwood Stone Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of San Diego, and we need a Supply Chain Analyst to lead our logistics cost analysis. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build reports on loads and lanes that planners can act on. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. What we are looking for • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. Nice to have • Knowledge of loads and lanes. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
