Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (remote)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Fern Freight and adding a Supply Chain Analyst whose main responsibility will be logistics cost analysis. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Build reports on loads and lanes that planners can act on. What we are looking for • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
