Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (remote)

Harborlight River Staffing places workers with employers around Birmingham. We are hiring a Supply Chain Analyst to take on logistics cost analysis. We are in the people business and act like it. What you will do • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Build reports on client orders that planners can act on. What we are looking for • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. Nice to have • Knowledge of client orders. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
