Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (Raleigh, NC)

Fernwood Beacon Manufacturing is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst. The job centres on logistics cost analysis for scrap and rework, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Build reports on scrap and rework that planners can act on. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Support annual contract and network reviews. What we are looking for • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of scrap and rework. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Raleigh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
