Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (Providence, RI)

Cedar Stone Freight Group is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst. The job centres on logistics cost analysis for proof of delivery, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 185 people based in Providence. What you will do • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Build reports on proof of delivery that planners can act on. What we are looking for • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. Nice to have • Knowledge of proof of delivery. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
