Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (Providence, RI)

Foxglove Timber Community Partners is a Providence charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity, and we need a Supply Chain Analyst to lead our logistics cost analysis. Flexibility and kindness are expected. What you will do • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Build reports on food distribution that planners can act on. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. What we are looking for • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. Nice to have • Knowledge of food distribution. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Providence. • We reply to every applicant.
