Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (Providence, RI)

Fernwood Granite Manufacturing is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst. The job centres on logistics cost analysis for work orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Build reports on work orders that planners can act on. What we are looking for • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of work orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Providence. • We reply to every applicant.
