Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (Portland, OR)

Northwind Bridge Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Portland, and we need a Supply Chain Analyst to lead our logistics cost analysis. You would join a large organisation of about 941 people based in Portland. What you will do • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Build reports on carrier rates that planners can act on. What we are looking for • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. Nice to have • Knowledge of carrier rates. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
