Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (Portland, OR)

We are growing our team at Summit Forge Freight and adding a Supply Chain Analyst whose main responsibility will be logistics cost analysis. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Portland. What you will do • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Build reports on carrier rates that planners can act on. • Support annual contract and network reviews. What we are looking for • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Clear communication with non-analysts. Nice to have • Knowledge of carrier rates. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
