Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (Pittsburgh, PA)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Birch Freight Group and adding a Supply Chain Analyst whose main responsibility will be logistics cost analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Build reports on proof of delivery that planners can act on. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. What we are looking for • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. Nice to have • Knowledge of proof of delivery. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Pittsburgh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
