Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (Oakland, CA)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Orchard Environmental Services and adding a Supply Chain Analyst whose main responsibility will be logistics cost analysis. You would join a large organisation of about 486 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Build reports on landfill records that planners can act on. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. What we are looking for • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of landfill records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
