Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (Oakland, CA)

Highbridge Sparrow Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Oakland, and we need a Supply Chain Analyst to lead our logistics cost analysis. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Build reports on claims that planners can act on. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. What we are looking for • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Clear communication with non-analysts. Nice to have • Knowledge of claims. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
