Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (Knoxville, TN)

Ironwood Field Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Knoxville and nearby communities. We are hiring a Supply Chain Analyst to take on logistics cost analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 184 people based in Knoxville. What you will do • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Build reports on billing accounts that planners can act on. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. What we are looking for • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of billing accounts. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
