Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (Hartford, CT)

Greenridge Birch Freight Group is a Hartford logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring a Supply Chain Analyst to take on logistics cost analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Build reports on carrier rates that planners can act on. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. What we are looking for • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of carrier rates. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
