Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (Grand Rapids, MI)

Harborlight Orchard Freight Partners is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst. The job centres on logistics cost analysis for carrier rates, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Build reports on carrier rates that planners can act on. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Support annual contract and network reviews. What we are looking for • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. Nice to have • Knowledge of carrier rates. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
