Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (Grand Rapids, MI)

Fernwood Harbor Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Grand Rapids. We are hiring a Supply Chain Analyst to take on logistics cost analysis. You would join a large organisation of about 405 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Build reports on cold storage that planners can act on. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. What we are looking for • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Clear communication with non-analysts. Nice to have • Knowledge of cold storage. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
