Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (Detroit, MI)

Redstone Willow Staffing Group is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst. The job centres on logistics cost analysis for client orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 618 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Build reports on client orders that planners can act on. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Support annual contract and network reviews. What we are looking for • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of client orders.
