Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (Des Moines, IA)

Silverline Harbor Freight Group is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst. The job centres on logistics cost analysis for loads and lanes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Build reports on loads and lanes that planners can act on. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Support annual contract and network reviews. What we are looking for • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. Nice to have • Knowledge of loads and lanes. • Experience with an ERP or planning system.
