Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (Des Moines, IA)

We are growing our team at Summit Ivory Foods and adding a Supply Chain Analyst whose main responsibility will be logistics cost analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build reports on ingredient orders that planners can act on. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. What we are looking for • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of ingredient orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
