Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (Des Moines, IA)

Ironwood Pine Water Authority Group is a public water utility serving the Des Moines area. We are hiring a Supply Chain Analyst to take on logistics cost analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build reports on pipe repairs that planners can act on. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. What we are looking for • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Clear communication with non-analysts. Nice to have • Knowledge of pipe repairs. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
