Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (Des Moines, IA)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Vale Community Partners Group and adding a Supply Chain Analyst whose main responsibility will be logistics cost analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 44 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Build reports on volunteer shifts that planners can act on. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Support annual contract and network reviews. What we are looking for • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Clear communication with non-analysts. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of volunteer shifts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
