Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Northwind Beacon Water Authority and adding a Supply Chain Analyst whose main responsibility will be logistics cost analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 83 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Build reports on capital projects that planners can act on. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. What we are looking for • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. Nice to have • Knowledge of capital projects. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
