Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (Chicago, IL)

Cedar Granite Staffing is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst. The job centres on logistics cost analysis for client orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Build reports on client orders that planners can act on. What we are looking for • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of client orders. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
