Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (Chicago, IL)

Summit Beacon Financial Partners is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst. The job centres on logistics cost analysis for loan applications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Build reports on loan applications that planners can act on. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Support annual contract and network reviews. What we are looking for • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Clear communication with non-analysts. Nice to have • Knowledge of loan applications. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
