Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (Charlotte, NC)

Highbridge Fern Freight is a Charlotte logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring a Supply Chain Analyst to take on logistics cost analysis. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Build reports on claims that planners can act on. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Support annual contract and network reviews. What we are looking for • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Charlotte, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
