Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (Charleston, SC)

Northwind Yarrow Freight is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst. The job centres on logistics cost analysis for dock schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Build reports on dock schedules that planners can act on. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. What we are looking for • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of dock schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Charleston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
