Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (Buffalo, NY)

Silverline Forge Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Buffalo with routes, transfer stations and recycling, and we need a Supply Chain Analyst to lead our logistics cost analysis. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Build reports on weigh tickets that planners can act on. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. What we are looking for • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of weigh tickets. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
