Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (Buffalo, NY)

Redstone Kestrel Manufacturing is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst. The job centres on logistics cost analysis for machine downtime, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Build reports on machine downtime that planners can act on. What we are looking for • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Clear communication with non-analysts. Nice to have • Knowledge of machine downtime. • Experience with an ERP or planning system.
