Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (Boston, MA)

Westbrook Beacon Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Boston, and we need a Supply Chain Analyst to lead our logistics cost analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 18 people based in Boston. What you will do • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Build reports on billing accounts that planners can act on. What we are looking for • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. Nice to have • Knowledge of billing accounts. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Boston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
