Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (Boise, ID)

Cedar Nest Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Boise plant. We are hiring a Supply Chain Analyst to take on logistics cost analysis. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Build reports on scrap and rework that planners can act on. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. What we are looking for • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. Nice to have • Knowledge of scrap and rework. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Boise, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
