Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (Birmingham, AL)

Cedar Umber Energy is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst. The job centres on logistics cost analysis for usage data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Safety comes first on every shift. What you will do • Build reports on usage data that planners can act on. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Support annual contract and network reviews. What we are looking for • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of usage data. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
