Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (Birmingham, AL)

Bright Rook Manufacturing Group is a Birmingham manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring a Supply Chain Analyst to take on logistics cost analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Build reports on machine downtime that planners can act on. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Support annual contract and network reviews. What we are looking for • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. Nice to have • Knowledge of machine downtime. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
