Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (Birmingham, AL)

Greenridge Water Authority is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst. The job centres on logistics cost analysis for meter reading, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Build reports on meter reading that planners can act on. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. What we are looking for • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. Nice to have • Knowledge of meter reading. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
