Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (Birmingham, AL)

Lumen Junction Manufacturing makes precision components in Birmingham, and we need a Supply Chain Analyst to lead our logistics cost analysis. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Build reports on scrap and rework that planners can act on. • Support annual contract and network reviews. What we are looking for • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of scrap and rework. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
