Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (Birmingham, AL)

Harborlight Bright Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Birmingham and nearby communities. We are hiring a Supply Chain Analyst to take on logistics cost analysis. You would join a large organisation of about 649 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Build reports on water quality that planners can act on. • Support annual contract and network reviews. What we are looking for • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of water quality.
